One of my earliest memories is him teaching me that you NEVER, EVER hit a woman. I don’t know how old I was. Five? Seven? Maybe he drilled it into me multiple times but that lesson was burned into me.
He also taught me at a very young age how to properly shake a hand. Look him in the eye, FIRM, but not too strong like you are trying to break his hand. I can’t tell you how many compliments I have gotten over the years about my handshake. Sadly, it’s a lost art.
Right before I moved back to California we spent all summer building a back patio together. I’ll try to poast a photo before I get on this plane. |
