There were so many rules there, if you got caught having sex with a female cadet, you were getting expelled, no questions asked. There is no privacy at all anywhere in the barracks, so there is almost no way you could get away with it.
Also, at least when I was there, the vast majority of guys really resented the females being at the school, and ca-dating was very looked down upon and not done.
I know that sounds crazy, but that school was just a different world. |

After a year or two of being at Citadel, for better or for worse, the experience becomes part of your identity, and not finishing the school with your classmates is a terrifying prospect. I'm sure things changed since the 90's, but we did not mess with the female cadets.
