But it’s worth noting that Mitch is Class of 1980, the girl getting creeped on by Tony (presumably before Anthony Rapp was creeped on by Kevin Spacey) is Class of 1979. O’Bannon is Class of 1976 (held back) and Wooderson is presumably Class of 1970-something. So the film, if released today, could be about someone from the Class of 2006. That person would be the too-old-to-be-hanging-around High School guy who’s always volunteering to buy beer. |

2006 to today is probably a bigger cultural/technological gap than 76 to 93 |
