I do think we should help those people - but help them to fish - not to beg and see no other way out.
Maybe its late stage capitalism, i dunno. I cant even imagine like bajillions of indians over across the continent that have considerably less. Its gonna get worse with AI for a bit too. I do think there will be excess and increased standards of living EVENTUALLY... but there could be a transition period that will be rough. Gonna be a lot of beggers that see no other way out.
I dont know why we dont see more people taking on AI as a way to hire employees without those costs. Skill issue? Maybe we should like be opening inner city AI-gyms showing the poor how to quadruple themselves with AI. |
