Date: January 9th, 2018 6:42 PM Author: Jet theater stage windowlicker every single crypto millionaire/billionaire will have held through an ATH and subsequent downturn. This can be rationally justified by a view that this bubble has way more room to grow before it eventually pops (given cryptos tiny pink market cap).
panicking and selling into a sharp unexplained dip is just being a scared little bitch triumphing over rationality tho. sellers have basically never not been punished for selling during unexplained dips. Unless you think a coin is on a one way trip to 0, why not wait a bit? but there are obviously sellers during every firesale. seems mysterious to me. |

Date: January 9th, 2018 6:55 PM Author: Manually Patching Allaire I think part of it is even if you don’t think it’s going to be a fatally dead coin, you might see the capital tied up as an opportunity cost and want to get out and plow into some new thing (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=3854503&forum_id=7#35119764) |

Date: January 9th, 2018 6:59 PM Author: Laughsome Juggernaut This. While I generally buy to hodl, sometimes entry point into a shitcoin is extremely important. Even an hour or two late can be the difference between a "good" return and moon. (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=3854503&forum_id=7#35119784) |

Date: January 9th, 2018 7:05 PM Author: Jet theater stage windowlicker ok fine in the unlikely event that you spot a new opportunity at the inopportune moment that a current coin starts an unexplained free fall, it can make sense to sell into a dip
incidentally i wrote this when xlm hit 3900 satochi and its currently back at 4140 |
