Hey dudes- longtime lurker since I applied for law school in '06. Getting into crypto now, but still a newb. I've got money in GDAX, BTC and ETH. I have a Trezor. I was wondering if someone could lay out a step-by-step guide for what I need to get ZIL on 1/25, I'm a believer. So something like this:

Have ETH in Existing Wallet

Transfer to EtherDelta (how do I do this?)

USE Transferred ETH to buy ZIL

Transfer ZIL to MyEtherWallet (is the the safest bet?)

Just looking for a few pointers. Thanks guys.

-check out a YouTube tutorial like http://youtu.be/XRsHfFAVtuk

-set gas level (top right dropdown) to what is recommended on ETHgasstation.info

-leave an absurd amount of ETH in your wallet (non-ED wallet) for gas at all times ..like 0.1 ETH no joke

-practice beforehand buying a small amount of a shitcoin on there

Np! I don't have a Trezor so don't know how to use it..WITHDRAW all your tokens from your ED "smart" wallet before leaving the exchange..send them back to your wallet

MyEtherWallet is just a vehicle to see and interact with an actual Ethereum wallet sitting on that big ol' fat ass blockchain. It's not a wallet itself.

Buy a hardware wallet Ledger Nano if you need to store material amounts.

i have a ledger nano s but use metamask with etherdelta b/c ed's kind of sketch and b/c it's pretty seamless with ed

download metamask extension, transfer funds that you intend to use on ed (plus gas) into metamask, go on ed, transfer funds into ed, trade, get funds back to metamask, metamask funds back to wallet

Trezor supports ETH/ERC20 tokens by interfacing with MEW.

If you boot up your Trezor and go to your ETH wallet, it will send you to MEW. You then use your Trezor (rather than a JSON file) to unlock your wallet and send ETH/tokens from it.
