MonaCoin (MONA) is an open source peer-to-peer payment network. It was thrust into the limelight when it was featured on WBS TV Network Tokyo, which reported a man purchasing a plot of land in Nagano with MonaCoin. The idea of MonaCoin was conceived from a Japan-based bulletin board called 2-Channel (2?????) by a user who goes by the handle of 'Mr Watanabe'.

It is based on the popular ASCII art character, Mona.

I was one of the original ZIL cheerleaders and hang my head in shame. Not selling when it was $.24 was the biggest investment fuck up I've ever made, although I only had 90k ZIL at that time.

Turns out the original firm that seeded ZIL has been dumping on the market since January. ZIL team has given ASSURANCES that they have stopped now, but if they were content to get such measly prices for their ZIL, that tells me what I need to know about their confidence in ZIL's future.

ZIL day was also a huge bust, the big partner reveal was some no name startup from Singapore. Dong is no longer leading ZIL and now it's some turd. Marketing non existent and constant requests for patience and to focus on tech, not price.

I could be wrong and it may have some minor near term pumps but I feel much more confident in BTC. In my mind it is largely a fully fleshed out product as digital gold whereas platform coins still need to prove there is any actual demand for them not to mention there are way too many of them and just logically, the vast majority are going to be losers and worthless in the medium term. The only one I am reasonably confident is ETH.
