Happened with ZIL as well. I don’t think “literally everyone” is expecting a crash. If you look at the Tezos telegram there’s a lot of optimism/delusion. And since when has the real world business success of the key developers been a driving factor behind the success of an open source blockchain protocol? ethereum is led by a pre teen Russian virgin and bitcoin was conceived by an anonymous nerd.
