I have become a weekend warrior car detailer over the past 6 months after a fuckup buddy of mine from HS who flunked out of college but eventually started his own detailing business got me into it. I think it's a lot of fun and I love watching professional detailing videos from YouTube starts like car detailing guru and pan the organizer. |

exterior stuff i just have basic cleaning supplies and waxes
nothing too special. basically do an interior detail every 6 or so months and wash my car whenever it gets dirty - wax every 3 or so months
nothing more to it
want to do an engine bay clean but definitely not trying that shit on a cayman LMFAO |

Date: May 26th, 2020 1:37 AM Author: offensive fortuitous meteor old irish cottage engine bay cleaning is not difficult or high risk. everything on modern cars is water tight. you just need some degreaser or heavy-duty all purpose cleaner, some dedicated brushes (probably fine if they overlap with your wheel brushes) and a pressure washer. but I guess your point is that the engine is in the back on a cayman? I guess I wouldn't know what to do with that.
I'd definitely recommend adding a cheap 1.75+ gpm pressure washer and a foam cannon off amazon though. you can pick both up for under $175 total and snow foaming your car is fun af and definitely helps prevent scratches and swirling in your paint. |

Both are basically insane supercars.
Then there is the Cayman S, and then the base Cayman which is what I have.
The GT4 and GTS are legit supercars - just think about the GT500 vs a Mustang V6. Pretty big difference but they're all the same Model. I just like calling mine a SUPERCAR because it's a legit panty dropper.
