What VR games do you recommend?
What are some good steam sales? Best saber is not on sale I see.
How do you get over motion sickness?
I got it several times and it turned me off of VR for a bit, even though I love it and am amazed by it.

I don't have beat saber but I got Audica on sale and it's great, very polished.
Last night I bought pistol whip on humble bundle to get a 20% member discount (it's otherwise never been on sale), and that's my VR killer app now. Physically strenuous but it's the best game I own.
You want a quality, cheap rhythm game, beats fever is 6 bucks
Other games that are great and/or bargains:
Raw Data
Creed: Rise to glory
Distance
Jet island
Redout
Rez infinite (it has a special vr-designed level that I like so much that it's worth it just for that level but playing the standard game in VR is great too)
Pixel Ripped
Windlands package
Ultrawings
Overload (if you're an old school PC gamer)
Thumper
Boneworks
Moss
Polybius (if you like retro shit this is a must buy. It's not on "sale" but used to be a $17 game and the "normal" price is now $7. This game will get your heart racing and give you a fucking seizure, it's the most visually intense VR game
My picks for standard racing would be Project Cars 2 and Dirt Rally series
There may be other stuff in my oculus store library also worth getting. Asgard's Wrath is supposedly a top tier game and I was thinking of buying it to play with Revive. Robo Recall is probably one of my favorite games too, and works pretty well on the index (not sure if I'd pay full price JUST to play with Revive though. I got the game for free with my rift).

Yeah I've played a few hours so far. It's pretty good and polished, great graphics, definitely a top tier experience, maybe a slight bit overrated though.
So far the best moment was right at the start, where you go into Alyx's little hideout and her plans are written on the window in dry erase markers. You can erase them with your finger. Needless to say, realizing that the markers could actually be picked up and used, and that I could write "NIGGER" on a virtual window was a peak experience. The rest of the game hasn't had quite that level of creativity/interactivity though. Sometimes it plays like a drawer opening simulator/scavenger hunt.
Boneworks has more jank, but the interactivity is much higher. Doesn't make the initial impression of Alyx but after a few hours with each, I think it's better.

The motion sickness is what caused me to take a huge step back from it. I dunno if I need to pick it up and work through it or what.

1. Gaming PC with a 2080ti. You can get an acceptable experience on a 1080ti, but the image will have less clarity because you won't be running the same resolutions/supersampling. There are some games where I wish even the 2080ti had little more juice.
2. Only thing that MacBook pro is useful for is being slammed shut, shitlib
3. It's the all around best consumer setup with wide support. There are various systems that may be better in one specific area, but have other drawbacks that make them much worse overall. There are also very high end headsets in the $3k-$5k range that are tough to even acquire, and have great specs but aren't widely supported. Index is the clear leader right now in my opinion.

No but I used to be loaded up on Time Crisis and other guncon games pre-VR. It's pretty cool to have what are essentially souped up light gun games make a comeback.
I can imagine a gun controller would be useful (although I'm usually dual wielding in VR). Games where you mimic holding two hands on an assault rifle to aim really don't work that well without an actual physical gun.
Can't imagine playing on PSVR though. It's a large step below the original Rift, which itself was not good enough and had me wanting better image quality from the first day I had it.
