Proceedings in State Court Opt-Out Litigation.

For those of you just joining the site, welcome. We like to host a weekly Friday evening discussion of some interesting topic or other in federal jurisdiction. We take a potluck approach, with each registered poaster able to suggest topics up to a week in advance and then a straw poll is conducted, at the end of which the next week's topic is selected.

This week, we'll be discussing the collateral consequences of MDL proceedings on opt-out litigation that manifests in state court. Our poaster panel participants (PPP) should be joining the poast shortly. I'll be acting as the moderator in this discussion and, heck, if I'm feeling particularly wild, maybe I'll chime in with a comment or two myself tonight!
