I would grab my gun and carjack a family in a minivan and have them start heading East. Immediately call 911 and have them get me in touch with FBI bureau chief. I tell him Some sob story about needing to visit the grave of some relative in DC so it’s plausible I’d actually give up afterward. I promise not to hurt anyone. I then basically drape myself in the kids in the backseat as human shields while pointing the gun at the driver from the back seat.
They might be suspicious I plan to do something to the President or some shit so I agree to meet them in some corner of DC as far away from government buildings as possible. But if I stay in the trunk and the friend occasionally lowers the back seat enough to toss me food/water/bottles to piss in, is there anything law enforcement can do about it?
This assumes that I can make it to my friend's house in the first place. I would be more likely to accept the hypo if it were New York and I could just blend into the masses on the subway. It's very difficult to get around in LA without a car, and calling a cab or Uber would be incredibly risky. But I think if I could make it to my friend's house in LA, I would like my chances from there.
