The best representation we've gotten on screen of Vader's abilities is the end scene in Rogue One:

At the start of the OT the Emperor had already won, very few Jedi were left, and there wasn't much of a resistance. Vader at his most badass is the time period we barely see, in the immediate aftermath of Order 66. I'd say they should just do a series where Vader murders everyone, VFX are so good these days you could do a great job with it even on a TV budget but Disney presumably wouldn't do an "evil triumphs for 30 years lol" story so.... It's implied that dark side hate, anger, etc can enable one to survive getting majorly fucked up, like Darth Maul getting chopped in half and falling down a pit and not dying |

Vader is invulnerable and single handedly tears apart an undersea station (and then survives its total collapse) in pursuit of Cal. Vader is so powerful that the game just makes you run away because even an accomplished Jedi has no chance against him.
That said, Jedi could presumably choke bitches out or shoot lightning out of their dicks, but those powers are driven by negative emotions and therefore the dark side, so they are corrupting. |
