Date: May 13th, 2021 11:02 PM Author: mind-boggling tan french chef thats at a speed of 5.7MPH if my calculations are right. i ran 5 miles at 5.5MPH on the treadmill once back in the day just for fun, it was a breeze. i felt great after, did wonders for my circulation.
what can be called running fast starts somewhere between 6.5MPH and 7MPH and at 7.5MPH you are definitely running fast. fast walking can be done up to somewhere between 4MPH and 5MPH, closer to 4 though. this is running two miles at a pace that is ridiculously easy. |

That's in addition to the fact that women are naturally pretty good at distance running. |

During one of my leadership rotations in basic, I put a female (who was strongly disliked by everyone) at the front of the formation and made her carry the SAW. After a couple of miles, she fell out of the back of formation, so I carried the SAW for her until she walked her way back up to the front of the formation. Then I gave it back to her and let her fall out of the back again. This continued until they swapped leadership midway through the March. Normally you would get a leadership ding for letting a fellow soldier struggle like that, but the drill sergeants knew everyone hated her and it was our way of doling out a group punishment. |
