Seems like another way to make life harder unnecessarily for people without money. I would be willing to revisit if there was actually a problem that arose out of eliminating bail but for now it just seems to put money in the hands of shady bondsmen. Defund the police is a bad idea, for instance, because we’ve seen crime go up when police officers are removed. Don’t think you can say the same thing about bail. |

It would eliminate the flight risk and make further criminal activity while out on "bail" extremely risky. I'd accept that as an alternative to the bail system.
