i tried trading in and out of ETH back in 2017 from the $15 to $150 range and i never felt like i was adding much value (probably actually lost money after accounting for short-term tax gains vs. buying and holding). i don't give a fuck today whether i bought into ETH at $50, $100, or $200 bc it was an order of magnitude trade.
in the end, you either maek it big in crypto by betting on winners, or you lose due to betting on the wrong coin.
obviously the above doesn't apply to true shitcoins, where market timing IS very important and you need to trade out of most of your position before it craters. |
