They're hypocrites if they don't. I understand wanting to support local places, but it's no different than big name chains. Food wise, it's a gamble. Huge gamble. You're not always going to win with local places.
Some places may charge 20 bucks or more for a cheese pizza and "insert topping name" pizza. If someone thinks I'm joking, I'm not. You're not getting value all the time from a local place, even if you like what they offer.
People need to understand that local eateries are not always good. If you're in places like New York, New Jersey, Chicago, places that are famous for pizza, I understand. But other places, I've heard a lot of negativity with local pizza joints. |
