ever since ite and being intimately exposed to business and high new worth grift professionally, i've been completely blackpilled. we're both libertarians and i think we both probably agree that people should pay their debts. for instance, i would never use legal maneuvering to avoid paying a personal loan to an individual. however, i can't in good conscious be a PAYMO when i see how those with far more wealth than me are bilking the system for 100000x more than i can.

also, from a purely economic point of view, forgiving the 1.6t in loans (cares act was 2.2t btw and most of that was windfalls to solvent businesses... why aren't we crying about that?) would be a huge stimulus. people saddled with debt would feel more comfortable starting families and getting on with their lives. they would have more money to spend. time and time again it's been proven that money directly in the hands of those that will spend it is the best type of stimulus.
