I hate large groups and I hate to be widely known in communities like bars, social clubs, church groups etc. Over time I drift to being popular in these types of environments but I truly detest it 95% of the time and usually only participate in order to further my own selfish goals (pursuit of women or money) - so I always have a superficially interested affect when I am in these places but underneath it all I simply don’t give a shit because I’m there to 100% further my own goals.

It’s especially bad in places where you go to relax or study or get alone time because you eventually build such a big circle of friends that they never leave you alone because you have to interact superficially with dozens of people on a regular basis. Then they start asking favors or advice from you etc. They don’t mean to do it but it happens gradually and exhausts the fuck out of you eventually.
