one of the things i appreciate about you the most is that you're not afraid to disagree or ask questions. one of the problem with internet forums is that it attracts a lot of extreme online autistic personality types. the type of people that will hold grudges for years over small slights. this leads people to recognize their friends and never disagree with them. i think this is probably true about really any group, but especially on the internet. however, i often see you patiently and reasonably disagreeing with people. i think that's really important to make sure a forum doesn't become an inner circle circlejerk. also, because of your genuine and positive personality, when you disagree with people i never see them flaming you or getting upset. that's a great and rare personality type to have, and demonstrates that you're not only a genuine and honest person, but someone that is kind and respected.

one of my downfalls is ego and pride. i know that i'm a smart, funny, and well-written guy. 99% of the time when i watch a tv, or movie, or comedian, i think: i could do that, i'm as smart and funny as the person who made this. however, there are some people that keep my ego in check. some people that are a head and shoulders above me, and that i have to recognize are just better than me at talents i pride myself on. one of the reasons i return to xo is that it is one of the only places on the internet you can find real genius.
