the economy has recovered, everybody is employed with high-paying jobs and are flush with cash they want to spend after being cooped up in their quarantine caves.
supply and demand says that when demand goes up and supply cannot meet demand, the price of the goods increases. companies are furiously trying to meet demand with supply, which is why there are so many cargo ships waiting to be offloaded.
so, wages, demand, supply, and prices are all climbing skyward.
this is a good thing.
