Date: October 24th, 2021 12:10 AM Author: Cordovan French Plaza Rolovich was fired from the university after declining to comply with Gov. Jay Inslee’s COVID vaccine mandate. He asked for religious exemption but was denied.
Four other assistant coaches were also let go.
On Wednesday, Rolovich’s lawyer is saying they will take legal action against WSU and everyone responsible in the “illegal termination” of his contract.
In a statement provided to KOMO News, attorney Brian Fahling said the religious exemption was denied but indicated the exemption would not have been accommodated even if it were granted.
