The history, ambience, several courses of food, the main course, the prime rib, is huge and incredible tasting (just melts in your mouth like butter). To top it off, they give you "seconds," which is a second serving of thinly sliced prime rib after you are done with your meal... and the price is under $80.

Well how many sides are you ordering?

Do you have to request "seconds"?

Do you get a dessert at the end, I mean if you're so full?

What do you mean several courses? You have to pay for them right?

All for one fixed price ($65), you get several courses...

1) Great bread;

2) Amazing salad;

3) Main course of huge, delicious, one-of-a-kind prime rib, three servings of different horse radish, with amazing sides of creamed corn, flat bread and something else;

4) They ask if you want "seconds";

5) You'll be too full for desert.

I liked the food, but the whole time I was conflicted about whether it was prole or not which really detracted from the experience

It's from a time when SF was filled with the white-working class. So it's high-prole.
