Gov't complete legalization of all drugs, however:

Communities and municipalities may have their own bans. Equate selling drugs in Area A as a local felony. Cops and concerned citizens may retaliate with lethal force. Area A must reasonably post the local law in their area.

I.E. zero state laws on drugs, no charges no convictions ever for any reason. If you're in a place that's cool with drugs you are totally safe. If you go to the Land of People Who Don't Like Drugs collectively in their area, basically you can be shot dead if you get caught, especially if you're caught distributing in one of these areas.

State gets out of the game, local justice is upheld, freedom of association everyone can decide for themselves if they're in a Pot Town or not. Up to Potheads to decide their personal risk tolerance. No questions asked if they are shot dead in an incident in which they possess or distribute pot.

This is a prime example of people should be allowed to do whatever they want and have total freedom as long as it is acceptable by their local municipality. If they go somewhere else where their behavior impedes on the freedom of other people to not want pot around at all, they are a threat to that person's safety and can be responded to with deadly force.
