First, chocolate is the default frosty flavor. If anyone asks for a frosty, it is assumed that it is chocolate. If you order “a frosty” at Wendy’s, you get chocolate.

Second, you specified chocolate. Meaning you override the default expectation, removed that burden of assumed knowledge from your wife, and established the exact flavor you wanted.

Third, she then went and ordered a vanilla frosty by name. How do we know this? Because she obviously didn’t order chocolate, and if she had ordered “a frosty” she would have received chocolate.

Fourth, she observed the vanilla frosty, obviously pale and white and not at all chocolate, and accepted it. Are we sure? Yes. Even if Wendy’s put a lid on the vanilla frosty, which is non-standard because the natural state of a frosty is to be topless to accept dipped French fries, their lids are at best semi-transparent. Additionally, the frosty artist obviously would not put a lid on because he just received a nonstandard order for a vanilla frosty and wants his patron to observe that he has honored this request and not simply autopiloted a frosty into the cup.

Frankly, if your wife isn’t already dead, you’re under-reacting.
