China’s newest aircraft carrier is a cheap US knockoff and not nuclear

subs always follow carrier groups u stupid faggot, that is one of their big jerbs, they dont get within the carrier group though of course but track from behind
and wtf wld they do to a high flying drone, they arent going to start a conflict shooting it down
sat tracking is 100000% easy, carriers do not stay out forever, soemthing like half of US carriers are in maintenance, when tehy leave port u just track it 24-7, u cannot hid a fuking carrier, its not WW2

they do have to have amazing and timely targeting intel and there’s no reason to believe that the chinks will have this at any given time
and if they do, they need to repeat the hits probably 6-12 times. no one missile is going to sink a carrier, and we have 12 of them

On this rare occasion I'm going to pull rank and cite my own personal expertise in this area. Before law school I worked with satellite images/data all the time. I have since looked up on what kinds of satellites and satellite technologies countries are putting up. Here's what you need to know:
1. A satellite in fixed orbit can take nice high res pics of stuff that's sitting in a fixed location where the satellite engineers happen to know it's going to be. Otherwise these things can only photograph whatever they are lucky enough to spot at the moment they pass by.
2. The satellites that take these high res pics cannot see a patch of the earth's surface wider than about 1-2 miles square at best. Beyond that, you are looking at pictures that capture wider expanses of the earth's surface, but don't give you the resolution you need to see something as small (relative to the size of the earth's surface) as an aircraft carrier with the kind of resolution you need to hit it square on with a missile.
3. If you have a general idea of where an aircraft carrier is, you can send up geostationary satellites that will scan that area of the ocean. However, this is like tossing a tennis ball up in the air and waiting for it to fall. You can only take pictures while the thing is up in the air. It's going to fall back to earth eventually, because it's not in any kind of stable orbit.
4. So China has to throw up these satellites that scan the whole ocean and try to locate the general vicinity of the carrier group. There's no satellite that can do that, because the ocean is too fucking big (see # 2 above).
5. However, assuming China has some kind of intel that lets it locate the carrier group with some accuracy, it can send up satellites that cover that patch of ocean and track the carrier. However, they will have to be in geostationary orbit, meaning it's only a matter of time before their orbit decays and they fall to earth.
6. A nuclear carrier can move at 35 knots and turn on a dime. To hit it with a missile, you need something with the resolution to spot a carrier that can also track it as it moves 3 miles in 5 minutes. So your satellite in geostationary orbit has to be fairly close to the earth and have some kind of moving camera I guess. You have to have a bunch of these satellites ready to fire to track this fucking carrier for however long it takes to launch your missile. You start to do the math on this and it looks about as easy as building a fusion reactor.
7. We can intercept and shoot down China's satellites.

They also have cloned Blackhawks.
All of their shit is cheap chink knockoff garbage and basically nobody in their entire military has any real combat experience.

The Chinese are 40-50 yrs behind carrier operations, so it's not even close. Like you mentioned OP, the fucking thing isn't even nuclear, so not only does it need to store millions of gallons of fuel for shitty Chinese knockoff copies of jets, but it also needs to fuel itself. This means it will need to be accompanied by vulnerable fuel ship at all times or it needs to sacrifice interior space for fuel storage.
If given the order the US Navy could completely decapitate the CCP/PLA/PLAN in 24-36 hrs using non-nuclear means. China can't even hit Hawai'i all that hard, and LOL @ CONUS. They have zero power projection.
