In the beginning I focused on looking good whenever I left the house, talking to everyone regardless of age or gender, and just doing lots of stuff to put myself out there.
I had great bro friends, but they were geographically dispersed. I realized I needed a group of awesome local bros so that was my next move.
Finally, find a hobby/activity where you can have normal peer interactions with women in your target demographic. Get pretty good at it, so women getting into it see value in you.
Summary: Be the best you possible and live a lifestyle that other people look at and want to be a part of.

But for normal bros, having awesome bro friends is tremendously beneficial. When you roll into a social situation with a group of chill bros all having a good time and emitting positive energy, girls are drawn to that. The second reason is if you ever want to form an actual relationship with a quality girl, not having guy friends will be a major red flag for all but the most autistic women.
