MLRS is a more general term, and even the older less advanced systems can reach 70km, but that’s their max
HIMARS is very advanced and 70km is on the lower end of their range, which is limited more by the type of rocket that we are sending to Ukraine. with a different configuration the HIMARS can reach up to 300 miles |
