It is like reducing a patch of Amazon rainforest to a monoculture corn field, or like turning a village into prison cells guarded by a warden.

You will have "advisors" who can guide you along your path as you take various actions with limited resources, like buying newspapers and radio stations, establishing a central bank, setting up controlled opposition, or encouraging mass immigration. There will be little pop-up notifications like, "Great news, sire! Your 'feminism' accomplishment severed the links between X% of men and women."

Along the way you will encounter resistance, which you will have to deal with by counter propaganda or, better yet, by limiting their access to the organs of public opinion.

I think it would be fun to add some conspiracy flourishes a la X-Com, like flouride in the water, chemtrails, MK Ultra, false flags, turning the frogs gay, and so on.
