Some of these are as simple as a will or an eviction. Others are complicated cases that will drag out for years. |

It's tough because I'm in a rural area without a lot of lawyers. And with very, very few young, energetic lawyers. Most of the few lawyers who are around here are Boomers or older Gen Xers who stopped giving a fuck long ago. So basically, if I don't help these people, nobody, and I mean nobody, else is going to. And they come flooding in, and display an amazing ability to come up with a wad of twenties to pay me with. |

Seems like CSLG hiring chandler was a big move. Allowed CSLG basically to never have to do trial work anymore. I also think you overestimate the motivation of your average attorney in starting their own practice. Maybe hire females, who tend to be less entrepreneurial? |

A lot of it is referrals from other lawyers who don't want to mess with this stuff anymore, if they ever did. Also just having a website and showing up on Google, having a sign on the building, etc.
People flood in, because there's so little competition. Granted, some of these are low value cases, but we signed up 10 or 15 new clients just this week. |
