This is a tired debate but the answer to "who cares" is that the DEI committee at HBO made changes to material in-universe characteristics of characters that are actually useful to other in-world characters to understand things about those characters. This is the major plot driver of Season 1 of GOT and sets that entire series in motion. Imagine GOT S1 but Bobby B looks like Seal and nobody is concerned about his fair Irish son. |
