That oftentimes when he would go on rants about politics/philosophy, I would zone out as he would talk for like 20min straight and think, “When is he going to stoppppp.”

I had a minor crush on his little brother and would be happy to see his car if we pulled up somewhere (but I loved BP and had a more massive crush on bp)

That I knew how sensitive bp was so I’d always clear my social media search suggestions and browser tabs on my phone before we hung out b/c I didnt want to hurt his feelings if he used my phone and saw I was looking at any other guy’s social media

That he was suffocating and wouldn’t ask permission to stay over my house all weekend when I lived in Providence and he started coming to my parents’ house every night during lockdowns although we never discussed it. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings by telling him I needed a bit more space. He’d often apologize late at night and say he had to go but I’d be happy because I could finally stop watching tv and do what I wanted to do on my computer. When he’d ask to spend some weekend nights with friends, I’d be like, “YES, PLEASE.”

It was uncomfortable how we both were so insecure. Like literally every text we “hearted” on iPhone and we’d have to make saying goodbye a long session every night

That I had to censor myself so much on this site and Twitter so as to make sure to never hurt his feelings

That I hated how much he vaped nicotine + weed. Like I’m not innocent either in that regard but he would take in HUGE huffs all the time and I was legit worried about his health/future health. We’d also both decide to quit weed for a while and I actually would but he would use it and I could tell and then hed admit there was a vape in his pocket and I’d start using it again (ultimately my fault, I know)

I knew way more about him and his background than he knew about me. I learned more about his deep inner thoughts from this site (dozens of hours reading his old posts) than I learned from him irl.
