I had my kid do fall ball with another team than the one we're normally on. It's a really strong organization. All of the kids had these composite 2 piece bats. |

Every other year they'd buy a larger bat (say 31 or 32 inches) and the other years they'd buy a smaller bat (28 or 29 inches). So they got replaced every two years. Some kids had their own special bat but they were usually shitty ones bought by grandparents or something. Most of us used one of the two team bats or maybe an extra that had been around for a few years.
