Xo gamecrew 4 manned it a while back (PC) and had a lot of fun in the process Darktide is the 40k (grimdark scifi) version of that, same devs |

Total war is among the better 4x games, Battlesector was very fun, Mechanicus is decent, Space Marine (the gears of war type shooter/slasher), Vermintide was great, etc. Most of the "bad" warhammer games are like 6.5/10, not 2/10. Rentier-ism has corroded my concept of "value" when it comes to things like this so I can't say objectively whether or not it's worth the 40$ they're asking for it atm but I'm leaning towards "yes". I'm enjoying it quite a bit and it's a T3 seller on Steam rn, the community is enormous though that comes with the unfortunate reality of the median player being low skill so prepare for some frustration if you're not playing with premade lobbies |

Cain tp and Jewish wife and also two comically large breasted camgirl friends all just got 40k Inquisitor: Martyr (the D3 clone) during the Winter sale and we started it today, very pleased with the quality so far. Not sure if that's the same title Relic's Dawn of War (original---up to Dark Crusade, 2004-2008 or so ) is also an undisputed GOAT of the real time tactics genre, better than their later CoH titles. Regularly goes on sale for 5-6 bucks and it's an insanely good value at that price point Hmu on Disc if you want to join in on any of this stuff |

I don't mind it as a Diablo clone, but it's one of those games that kept bugging out for me unless I sunk a ton of time into finding obscure fixes and was never quite worth it (on multiple systems, no less). Could've been much better with more polish. I really loved dawn of war 1 games. Even 2. |

I didn't have any issues with it today, nor did anyone else in the lobby, but ymmv as it always does with comparatively finicky PC releases. The "always online" thing is annoying but not a deal breaker for me, D3 had it too. New season (8? i think) starts in a week or so so we're getting in at a bad time but whatever. Imo install it and play with us, not going to be able to corral 4/5 people into playing every session at the same time so there should be room during your peak hours. Also as a relevant aside the more slime removed from my digital sight the better, need to have more phalluses in the room than slime creatures if we are to see great success on the holy leaderboards DoW 1 DC was a classic, peak of the squad based RTS genre but idk I disagree on 2. No real base building/defensive play to speak of and I didn't really like the visual direction they took the series in. 3 ig was so bad we don't even speak of it in polite company. Not even sure who the devs were as Relic went bust about a decade ago & the chosen devs of the studio were forced into a diaspora spanning across 40+ devshops All your technical issues should be fixed but you might want to do a clean install anyway, main issue I had was just it refusing to pickup my primary vcard but w/e lots of games do that now Re: classes we need a Death Cult Assassin or maybe the new Sororitas class (which may fit you thematically, who doesn't love a self-flagellating battle nun warrior saint). Hopefully the sale is still on for the DLC shit, also don't pick AdMech because the campaign is apparently a totally different thing as we learned today & u basically cant play with any other class till u finish the (separate) campaign |

Not surprised you get ill with the semester schedule, all those people traveling to and from home and bringing filthy PATHOGENS back with them Yeah I'm fine, it's shitty but whatever I'm used to it, this is a tradition as old and cherished as Festivus at this point. The insomnia is bizarre though (weird dreams too---sublime, byzantine mixture of beauty/horror imagery from the attenuated REM cycles and increasingly Dadaist insomniac pillow thots) and most of the ppl I know who had the same thing reported a similar effect.
