they raise the nose of the choppers probably not much less than the angle these pods are angled before firing
plus a ton of other Soviet legacy rockets are also “dumb” and fired this way, so nothing unusual here. at worst it’s “harassing” fire, at best they mangle a couple of mongrels |

because what's happening in actual combat is that they are getting shot at so they are using maximum standoff distance to fire the rockets, which requires them to bank at a steep angle
