One time I decided to give him a can of tuna so I left it on my front porch and within 5-10 minutes a ridiculous spectacle of around 7 other cats had materialized seemingly from thin air and were circling the tuna growling at each other. So the assumption that they liked and wanted the fish is reasonable.
As an epilogue, I did at one point try to adopt my little catdood friend. He wanted to come inside so I let him. I was going to get him food and supplies and stuff. But after exploring and running around for half an hour, he went to the front door and started howling. And I had seen during his run of the place that he was pretty apt to try to knock anything and everything over, so I decided it was for the best to let him go on his way. |
