of course I'm also not expecting anywhere near FAGMAN salary. The people who are fucked right now are the ones who refuse to work for anything less than 300k or recent grads from [shitty school/bootcamp]. Overall it's not nearly as bad as ITE, and I'm sure the .com bubble was much worse even than that. |

Random non-prestigious companies (tech or not) often use "senior" in much looser terms than FAGMAN and it's really just an umbrella title for the 130-200k bracket for people with 3+ years experience.
If you're willing to go even lower than that just to get out ASAP you can probably get hired within a week; the companies which used to rely on h1bs are getting assfucked right now. |
