Okafor was a good player, but right when they picked him the league changed over from 4s who could score in the paint to 4s who could shoot a 3 and play stretch D. That was honestly just really bad timing.
Simmons was traded for James MOTHER FUCKING Harden, so even though he did become a STIFF and a HEAD CASE - he played very well for the Sixers until the Miami series broke him permenantly. And they got good value for him when they dumped him on his ass. |

The game literally changed the next year and he couldn't adjust. If he were born 10 years earlier he would have been a 5 time all star.
And Simmons is definitely not a Top 5 number 1 stiff. He wouldn't even be a Top 5 number 1 stiff in the last 20 years. He FUCKING SUCKS NOW though. He is broken as all fuck and will never be fixed. |
