Why is the video game industry even more woke than Hollywood?

Educated, live in cities, have jobs that are silly enough you can be some kind of lgbt freak? No one in gaming or gaming journalism has a front facing job so you can cozy up to your WFH cubicle and put on a dress?
A fun fact I learned from the top researcher in the world on transgenderism, the #1 occupation of autogynophiles is software engineer. The takeaway is tech = the most woke?
Does it have anything in with how it used to be a really male centric space for young men to blow off steam and fantasize and then it was invaded by feminists? You would think there would be some chauvinistic remnants from the good old boys club but they seem so thoroughly defeated...
If you have alternative theories please let me know. |
