Pacific is three separate narratives but visually 10X better. The sheer horror of rooting out japs rock to rock; the CGI deployed for the Battle of Savo Island, Peleliu and Okinawa are displayed amazingly. John Bazelon provides somewhat of the hero, but like all the protagonists he is very human |
