i was a fifth year partner making 360k. in the dc office. |

Firms around V50 pay market so of counsel will make around what an 8th year associate makes (500k plus).
V100 is highly variable but probably 350-400k. |

Date: June 7th, 2023 9:09 PM Author: Swashbuckling haunting giraffe i have 3-4 and my book was $800k last year. the firm also has a labor guy who's leaving the practice of law and they desperately need someone to take over his book, otherwise it all goes away bc nobody can do it (they have a couple associates but they can't really service the clients). the retiring guy's book is supposedly around $500k but i think that it should be more but the guy was only doing enough work to keep himself somewhat busy (not sure wtf the assocaites were doing). plus, there has to be a ton of labor work available from cross selling at the firm but they haven't had anyone around who bothered to do it.
this will either be really good or it'll suck ass and i will leave law firms after i fail. we will see. |
