This was known to be her purpose at the time and everyone respected the decision as devious as fuck.
If you rate, on a 1-100 scale, kamala's "competitive as a VP pick for traditional reasons (race, position, geography, ideology)" score and her "unlikely to win potus as the 2024 candidate score" (with 0 being a guaranteed win and 100 being no chance), the sum of those two numbers is probably 40 points higher with kamala than with any other person in the country.
