What a time capsule that song was. When the pop metal guys tried to get serious. Same time as Scorpions “Wind of Change” and Poison’s “Something to Believe In.” Then grunge came and ate their lunch.

Interesting about “One,” I think that what was made the pop metal bands try to be more serious. In the middle of pop/glam metal here comes a thrash band making their first video, it’s this horribly depressing black and white job about a WW1 novel, and it was a huge hit.
