Hear me out. Gamecube owners are a proud bunch (sales: 23,000,000k). Sega Saturn aficionados as well. The total sales of that Console, you ask? Under 10 million - similar to the Series X proper, by the way.They're a proud bunch, Saturn fans that is. The most intellectual group of gamers you'll come across, at least where liberal arts are concerned. But you know the most passionate group of gamers I've ever come across, bar none? The 32Xers. But I digress. It's not just about the sales.
PS5 owners are the most privilieged group in gaming. Market research shows time and again that they're the most well-heeled, intellectual, and foreward-thinking cohort in the 9th gen. And every FF7 Rebirth owner is a PS5 owner. In many parts of America - Series S country, as it were - a $500 Console would be an extravagance. For PS5 owners it's just a line item on their credit card statement, and under .05% of their net worth. A rounding error. It's an exclusive group, to be sure. An Exclusive Title like FF7 Rebirth adds icing to the cake. And by the way, the discourse on subs like these is top-notch. I can tell most of you are highly intelligent, successful, exceptional men, worthy of such a Console and Game. I am proud to be part of this fandom. The 32X will always be my favorite, but that fanbase, whoa boy, it gets a bit wild haha. PS5 is really more my speed, and FF7R in particular. Tbh I would truly enjoy FF7R irl get-togethers where some of us can get Trophies for other players who struggle at things like situps or the piano. Maybe some day, when we're not all busy with our careers, our intellectual pursuits, or our rich inner worlds. But if anyone is interested in the meantime, message me privately.
