lowes guy sent me these prices:

1x2x10 = Poplar board, item#43158 $16.00

1x2x8 = Pine, item#1408 $3.42

      Whitewood, item#4511 $1.58

      Select pine, item#1206 $7.68

      Primed spruce pine fir, item#811231 $7.64

i have no idea what this shit means, and dont even really know what priming is and whether it's better to buy primed or unprimed wood.

our handyman will be painting and installing our custom window trims
