U sure? Could've sworn I saw a notification for a pay version with better features like it saves where you leave off in a show.

Showing ads is how we keep our thousands of movies and TV shows free for everyone! We do not offer a subscription service to watch ad-free.

Our ad breaks are short (one to two minutes long, on average) and happen approximately every 15 minutes or so. At around 4 to 8 minutes of ads every hour, we have far fewer ads than cable!

Tubi maxes out at 720p. It's like the Sony of tv streamers, tailored to the Poor and Marginalized.

I really don't care about picture quality. I grew up with 8 channels on rabbit ears. We never had cable. Although it is funny how big of a deal long distance call quality was back in the day and now literally all carriers suck fucking ass. Nobody cares.

It's not wholly a defeat of GC--I mean, it's owned by Fox I believe--but it's great for what I want especially in terms of movies.

I remember back when Netflix streaming first started what was fun was you could find all these random back catalog movies on there, like obscure film noir from the 1940s or some foreign movie you'd never heard of

Eventually almost all of that left in favor of original programming or the other rights holders went off and took their balls with them

But the stuff on Tubi is great--a ton of old obscure horror and italian horror, but also mainstream stuff--like I finally watched the 1989 Batman on there, and they've had Ghostbusters etc on there

Tubi’s catalog is its killer app, but I don’t see how the other studios don’t just license away all the profits. They’ve already started making their own shitty Tubi movies, so it’s like Netflix was. And it will end up like Netflix.

It just started. Extremely cheap action movies so far. Proles literally can’t distinguish between $5 million and $50 million movies. Don’t they produce them but they buy them cheap.
