just the obvious ones, you see the pantheon, the vatican, some churches with cool sculptures, trevi fountain, eat something good and get drunk on wine

I guess I would recommend you do the spanish steps at night just cause they look cooler then

For amazing seafood go to the Pantheon in Rome. Stand in the middle of the piazza looking at the entrance, then turn on your heel 180 degrees in other direction. Walk straight and take the street on the left down via della rosetta.

Halfway down the block is Trattoria La Rosetta - Ristorante di Pesce - surprisingly 180 dinner and close to sights if you are bumming around the area.

Why would you go to Florence and Rome for the first time and seek out “non tourist” shit to do, as a fucking tourist? Are you really to cool for the colosseum and Vatican museum, faggot?

Gorgeous city. Climb to the top of the clock tower for amazing views. Buy a linen jacket at De Paz. Fine in the piazza of the seven churches.

venice is extremely overrated. more specific advice depends on what you're looking for. if you like old medieval towns, there are a ton of gorgeous ones everywhere that don't get much attention. if you like old roman stuff, the via appia outside of rome is incredible. if you want pics of yourself looking at rennaisance paintings, you can't go wrong going to pretty much any national museum in rome or florence. if you like drunk american milfs, hie thee to positano. it's a highly populated but geographically small country, so you have many options if you just want to play la dolce vita or under the tuscan sun somewhere.

I've never been to bologna but it seems like THE cr spot to go. It's out of the way for most travelers. Food seems cr and it's authentic Italian looking.

You also need to understand that Asians to these BOXED BUS tours of all their Asian recommended hotspots and that's all they do. So while Florence is exhaustingly overcrowded, it's basically just one block.

Rome is 180. Other posters are correct that you're just another tourist so just go with that

It's just food and charm bro. No point getting into an xo battle over whether Italy is 180000000 or not.

The towns are all gorgeous. These people care about quality of lemons or tomatoes or whatever, are attractive and kind, and any random car has like 12 Caravaggio paintings laying in the back seat
