As much of a piece of shit as Pritzker is, this dude shut down everything Blago was saying. Also saying things like "how does this benefit me when I'm not governor anymore" did not make him sympathetic. He definitely was acting like he'd won a lotto ticket.
Also the feds were investigating him way before the Obama Senate seat thing went down. Look up Operation Board Games. The FBI thought this dude was corrupt as hell from day 1. I've never even heard him address this bit.
I think he was like Nixon in that he was just compulsive in crossing the line into corruption. |
