Went on a date recently on like a Wednesday night. Chick lied on the app about living in town, she was actually in town for a convention. Lawyer. Couldn’t meet up with me until after she got back to hotel from event, after which she would uber “wherever you tell me to go.” She was staying downtown, I know no places to go that late downtown, so I chose a place a little down the road in midtown, maybe 10-15 minutes from where she was staying down like one main street. Maybe a few miles from my place. Had no idea this would be an issue.

I show up at the place at 10:15 (very very late for a week night date IMO) after she got back to hotel and wanted to freshen up. She was running late. Around 10:40, the lights at the bar I chose turned on, turns out they closed at 11pm (whoops). I find a place really close by that was open to 2am while waiting.

She shows up, looking good, literally first words out of her mouth was her complaining that I made her “come to where you live.” I tried to defuse the situation, explained that I didn’t know a place near her hotel that would be open, apologized, and apologized again that the bar was about to close and we had to make a quick move a few doors down.

She was irate – on walk to next bar, she complained about having to “come to you” and not picking a place close to her – NO LESS than 3-4 times over maybe a 200 foot walk. I was getting annoying but tried to keep a positive face and turn this around. By this point I’m not sure she had said anything civil yet, just straight angry bitch

Get to the next bar, order a drink, ask her some questions about her for a while. She starts off with the "I have been through a lot, so I am the type of girl who tells it like it is." (aka telegraphing that she is going to be a bitch) Tell one quick story about how I didn’t get any COVID pandemic assistance when I started my firm after she mentioned that I probably got that. She literally told me that I was stupid when I explained what I did (even though I was completely correct and she didn’t have experience in my state for applying for this).

Right when she told me that I was stupid, I saw her pull out her phone to call an uber. She then says “I have been out with a lot of guys, and I can honestly say this is the worst date that I have ever been on.” This was like 15 minutes after we had met.

I was like “ok lol.” Like I was so surprised at this that I wasn’t even mad. She then gets really serious and goes “you probably don’t get a lot of feedback from girls you date. Let’s tell each other what we don’t like about the other.” I was like ok.

She proceeded to tell me that I didn’t ask her any questions or make her feel special (all I really did was ask her questions IMO), that I didn’t extend myself by coming to her and making it easy to meet. That I was handsome and liked my build, but that I was a terrible date, she kinda hated me, etc.

When it was my turn I told her that she complained too much about having to come 10-15 minutes down the road (that's not far here at all), and when a guy sincerely apologizes for an honest mistake like that and the bar closing (since she couldn’t meet until late and I never go out on Wednesday late nights), to stop fucking pushing the issue like she did. Basically the first time that I pushed back on her at all.

She immediately did a 180 degree change. I noticed that her uber had arrived on her phone, but she proceeded to talk to me for the next 15 minutes about how terrible her life was, how she didn’t want to die alone, she couldn’t find a guy, she couldn’t keep girlfriends, etc etc.

I challenged her on a couple things (e.g. are you the type of person who likes to invent drama to make a guy prove that he likes you, etc), she agreed with all of it. She then started rubbing my arm, started telling me what I great guy I was. I rolled my eyes at that, and she called me out for rolling my eyes, I was like “you are damn right I am rolling my eyes right now.”

When her next uber came, she gave me a big hug, again told me how great of a guys I was and left.

I went home, like “WTF was that shit?” She then started texting me that I was a nice guy, thank you for the drink, etc

TLDR – she came in hot, insulted the fuck out of me for 15 minutes, told me I was her worst ever date, then the moment I pushed back at all she completely folded and told me about all of her problems and told me I was a great guy.

This is the quality of females out there bros.

this is also why she lied about being out of town and why she couldn't just tell you to come to the hotel bar. she had to create the fantasy of a "normal date" to preserve her own fantasy about herself not being a slut.
