TBF has indicated that tesla is going to pivot to other shit like robots. if so, i can see them pulling through. but things look horrible rn. elon's weirdo antics have alienated libs and europe, which were the main demo buying his cars. i don't see cons flipping on EVs and spending 30-100k to support elon and make a point.
i'm not saying tesla's doomed, but i wouldn't buy the stock. too risky. i already have six figures in crypto (which i am still buying). i'm good giving up the potential huge gains.

To be fair,
TSLA will hit new ATHs well before 2030, and I haven't lost a moment's sleep worrying otherwise.
"Tesla the car company" will sound positively quaint in a decade. Do you still think of "Apple the computer company"? Tesla is that on steroids.
Even putting aside their path to FSD robotaxis -- which is a trillion dollar/year industry that doesn't even exist yet -- they literally have multiple other huge (as in trillion dollar) independent non-car-related products in the pipeline at the moment, and unlike any other company on the planet they have both the computing/engineering power and the vision (thanks to Elon) to pull them off.
The idea that the average "liberal" Boomer will never buy from them again is the most laughable cope I've ever heard... hmm, now what would I do, drop $50k on a helper robot that will allow me to continue to live in my gay McMansion with "assistance" for another 5+ years, or sell my home and move into an expensive and depressing "retirement community" filled with retarded Filipino workers and other old obnoxious residents that serves shitty food? Decisions, decisions! But yeah I'm sure the generation that has *already* triple-reverse-mortgaged their houses "because it's our time" will totally stand on principle going forward, haha yeah haha.
This thread is just the latest iteration of all of those "lol BTC is now down 50% now and dropping fast, hope you fags sold back when it was $2k/$5k/$10k/$25k/$50k/etc" threads that have flooded onto this bort over the last 12+ years. Oh noes, why didn't I ever sell?! lol

yea, i'm not taking issue with any of that but i'm sitting this one out.
i have around $100k in SOL, 35k in XRP, and around 10k in bitcoin (with around $400k of my 401k in the bitcoin ETF).
planning on plowing $2k/mo into SOL/XRP/BTC. rate this plan.

To be fair,
Fair enough brother, I totally cosign that people should only risk what they're personally willing to lose when it comes to speculative investing.
But I don't lose much sleep worrying about my longterm "risk" on TSLA. Honestly the only thing that gives me pause is the fact that a black swan event could happen and someone really could assassinate Musk. I would sell instantly if that happened.

To be fair,
IMO this would be a totally hilarious and devastating response... except for the part that I actually do have a 10+ year well documented history of making accurate financial calls on XO that have all gone against the "haha holy shit u idiots are fucked now" conventional wisdom that retarded bitter Pumos and Quotemos exactly like you have been venomously spitting at me for that entire time.
And whereas all of those Pumos and Quotemos got totally blown out and never made any money from being spiteful little faggots, anyone who simply listened to me and held through the dips like I advised would be rich now.
But yeah, except for that part, you got me and I'm "cooked" now brother.

TBF has always been a fucking moron, and you should ignore whatever he says. TBF.us, on the other hand, has been nearly infallible, so it is definitely 100% safe to do whatever TBF.us says.

it's a surefire sign of someone who deep down knows he's not smart enough to figure things out for himself, but who is way too proud to admit it to himself or anyone else, when someone says the market "makes no sense"
also just horribly uninquisitive

To be fair,
Link?
I have never once claimed taht "the market is wrong" regarding the long term performance of any asset. In the long term, the market is always right by definition.
Incidentally, you seem to be too dumb to parse out the huge and important difference between saying things like "I think [X] stonk is *temporarily* oversold and the price will recover" or "consumer confidence in BTC has *temporarily* cratered and will recover" and saying things like "over the last 10+ years the market has been wrong about this asset, trust me I know these things I was totally right to say it was worthless all those years ago!"
Odd case.

Market hasn't had TSLA priced at $220 for 10+ years. In fact, it has only been continually priced above this level for 6 months, and only hit this level for the first time 4 and a half years ago. So it's just as much of a claim of *temporary* overpricing as your claim of "temporary" underpricing on a 10-year timescale is.
If TSLA were still to be well below $2T market cap in 5 years, you wouldn't be capitulating and admitting defeat, you'd be going on about how the market is wrong (and has been wrong for the past 5-10 years)

To be fair,
LJL at this snivelly kike attempt to turn this around on me. What pathetic absolute sophistry. "Ackkkshually, YOU'RE the one claiming that the market is wrong here on a long time scale, TBF! HYPOCRISY!!!"
Reality: Tesla has been continually trading at *exponential* valuations of what it "should" be trading at for 5+ years now. In fact, at no point during that period has it ever not traded at what would traditionally be considered exponential valuations. Even with the MSM literally running wall-to-wall coverage of how Elon Musk is LITERALLY HITLER and insinuating that if you buy a Tesla you're a horrible person and your car might get firebombed and with TSLA experiencing a huge prolonged dip, TSLA is *still* continuing to trade at an exponential valuation.
That either means that the market has now been continually wrong about TSLA for 5+ years straight (and still remains wrong right now), or, on a longterm time scale, the market has instead consistently seen something that Tesla / Elon haters have simply missed. There is no third possibility. And in case that wasn't clear enough, I'm the one here who is siding with the market's view as measured on a 5+ year timescale, smart guy.
HTH, Ari.

you have no idea what the word 'exponential' means, hth
also you aren't siding with the market's view...if it's really set to be at $4T by 2035 it's absurdly undervalued now.
also, lol at using P-to-E this way. every money losing startup trades at an infinite P-to-E for years (because there are no earnings), gee guess they must all be set to moon in 10 years!

To be fair,
Kike Shitlibs when it's time to shit on TSLA's stonk valuation: "LOL this shit is so insanely overpriced it's absurd, I mean it's not rocket science just look at the fundamentals of the company this shit should really be selling for like $30 a share."
Kike Shitlibs when I invoke that very same reasoning in this thread to support my own point about the market apparently seeing value in the company across a long time scale that haters are missing: "You stupid faggot, that's now how this stuff works, my god you're such a bad faith little financially illiterate retard."
Wow!
Man, I wish us dumb cattle goys had some of these incredible "heads I win tails you lose" argument tactics at our fingertips... sure must be nice. No wonder you guys are incapable of ever losing an argument!

Saying "this company is set to moon 5-10x bc it's had infinite P-to-E for years" (when it didn't have any earnings) is absurd. Applies to every money-losing company.
